I love the good ingredients in the product! I was astounded with the amount of bad ingredients in American crew so I needed a change, especially for something going on my head right next to my brain! These ingredients make me feel safe and makes me know that I’m not doing anything harmful to my body. As for the product, it works great I can’t really tell that much of a difference between this and American crew but that’s because they both hold my hair, as they should.

First time trying this and really like it. Smells great, works through hair easily and just the right amount of hold.

I have short greying hair that looses its body the 2nd day after washing. This product is great in giving my hair a boost and not feeling like it’s full of gunk. Helps me to style and stay too

I've been using FirstHand for quite some time now. Found them at American Field in Brooklyn years ago and this is the best version of their product. When I needed to re-up, I noticed some packaging changes and also a move from texturizing clay to texturizing paste. I gave it a shot and this is way lighter than the previous iteration but still holds up! I'm very happy with the switch to a more paste consistency and I appreciate that it's way easier to get the excess off my hands with a quick wash in the sink.
